In our village of Kirkhamgate, on the outskirts of Wakefield, we strongly support the following:-
Kirkhamgate Village Hall
The Kirkhamgate Community Association is a small commitee of people who are dedicated to the welfare of the village hall, and, have strived for years to get the funding for a new village hall, but to no avail, therefore we put on as many events as possible. We manage to bring the best shows to our beloved village hall to raise vital funds to keep it open, because, as we live in a "respectable area" we are unable to get any funding. The Hall has a unique atmosphere and all the bands love to play here.

Up and coming talent within our community
We have some outstanding talent within our community, and here at Johnny 7, we aim to promote our local bands as best we can. Whenever possible, we rig out the village with the finest production equipment, and let the young bands play and show off their talents. These nights are always sold out and give the younger members of the village a chance to let their hair down.

Kirkhamgate School
Once a year, usually July, we put on an event in the school hall, to raise money for for the school itself. It is always a pleasure to work along with the staff at the school, and the events, as well as being a great night out, raise that extra bit of revenue to improve the facilities for our children.
